After watching this GoDaddy commercial which aired for the Super Bowl this year, I gave it the TARES ethical persuasion test. To me it passed, barely. My biggest concern was how unsettling the theme of the commercial was.

  1. I definitely agree with you on this one. This commercial was very simple and caught the attention of many people during the superbowl. Although the point is simple and easy to follow, when I first saw this commercial it was a little difficult for me to catch what it was exactly for. I had to rewatch the commercial because the actual talking only happens for about 5 seconds before the two start going at it. This commercial uses a stereotypical plot by using a nerdy boy who’s good with computers, and a hot girl who symbolizes your beautiful and creative website. This ad does pass the TARES test.
